TP Link TL WR940N 450Mbps Wireless Router

TP Link TL-WR940N Router Review:

The simplest method: link it to a PC and an Internet source, and the router will launch its Web-based configuration interface, where you can configure your network, adjust the Wi-Fi settings, and set a router password for you. Unless you require a high-powered gaming router, the majority of daily-use routers are simple to set up and work right out of the box.

In our 2.4 GHz close-proximity (same room) test, we achieved 74Mbps, which is significantly faster than the average performance of most budget routers. Testing over a radius of 30 feet revealed a speed of 42.5 Mbps, which was slightly faster than the Amped Wireless R10000G (37.9 Mbps) but a little slower than the Netgear R6220 (47.2 Mbps).

Final:

The TP-Link TL-WR940N Wireless Wi-Fi Router may not be very expensive, but that doesn’t deter it from strong performance and a good feature set. Its 2.4 GHz throughput scores well better than similarly priced models, including the NETGEAR N300 router. Granted, you’re searching for a budget wireless router, which works for a small business, home or office, this is an excellent choice. For the low price and strong connectivity throughout most protocols, the TP-Link N450 easily earns our Editors’ Choice for budget routers.
