So I bought a CM1000v2 modem and this bad boy because I need to get out from under the thumb of Xfinity. While pricey upfront, they will pay themselves off in 3 years. Not to mention my son does remote learning. For the life of me, I could not block YouTube from my Xfinity network no matter what I did. It was very frustrating. Well, the AX11000 has parental controls that blow Xfinity out of the water and better options to control your network…including blocking any site you want (YouTube!). My only regret is I didn’t splurge and get this sooner. 5 stars aren’t enough for this beast.
