It is the second pure gaming router from TP-Link. The Archer GE650 includes tri-band Wi-Fi 7, along with two 5 Gbps ports, and three 2.5 Gbps multi-gig ports. This router comes with 11 Gbps dedicated gaming ports and gaming acceleration technology to provide the best online experience available. TheArcher GE650\u2019s side profile is very similar to the Archer GE800, including programmable vertical RGB lighting on the front, as well as a lit base. However, front and back, it now tapers upwards, making it look rocket-like. The compactness also means it has no place for an internal fan, hence the decreased noise. TP-Link told me that the new router has an improved heat dissipation design that should prevent it from overheating and that\u2019s what my hands-on experience found.
